The cost of travel adds up. Contribute your commuter cash!

Travel costs and your morning caffeine boost, petrol money and after-work snacks. Times are tough at the moment, really tough. We understand that you might be feeling a little helpless. By donating the cash you’d normally spend on your commute to a charity in need, you can support those who care for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Rugby Foodbank

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

HOPE 4

The Hope Centre is, during the Covid-19 crisis, closed. Face to face sessions with staff are suspended and social distancing in force in order to keep both clients and staff as safe as possible. However at this critical time all our clients have been offered accommodation by Rugby Borough Council. Staff are in regular contact with clients by phone ensuring they know and understand the latest government guidelines, checking on any food, health and wellbeing concerns, and if need be could have face to face meetings. Answer phone messages at the Hope Centre are picked up daily. Service delivery will be assessed as the crisis unfolds and we will update you further as and when.

We are therefore not currently able to take any food or clothing donations. However financial donations are always very grateful received and at the current time is no exception. These will help us our work to keep in step with the local challenge and national guidance, as well as continuing to meet our regular expenses.

AniMasks

Be Safe. Raise a smile!

Welcome to the home of AniMasks – fantastical face masks intent on raising smiles across our communities.

Not so long ago, seeing someone wearing a face mask to the supermarket or on a stroll around the park wasn’t that common. Now, in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, we’re all trying new things to help stop the spread. That means covering up. AniMasks help to reduce the spread of droplets generated by talking, sneezing and coughing. And for extra smiles, 100% of proceeds are donated to the NHS.

There’s lots of ways to support our local community right now.
